Mahina was born and raised in Hawaii Kai, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Born in March of 1985 to Alan and Pulani Cumpston, Mahina spent all of her youth juggling the various activities she was involved in; from a young age, Mahina had a knack for time management and a desire to participate in as many activities as possible.
