Chocolate Pistachio Cake

This is my first of many favorite recipes that I wanted to share, but I before I say anything, I want to start with a serious warning.  If you are on a diet or if you do not have any self control when it comes to sweets, do not read this post and do not bake this cake.  You will be sorry!  Now that that is over, I got this recipe from one of my closest friends, Bridget,  who makes this cake at all family, friend and work potluck parties (pretty much any chance she gets).  We have already baked it twice in the last month.  Hahaha.  This cake is always a hit and is a huge hit in my family too!

Ingredients:
  • 1 Box Yellow Cake Mix
  • 2 Pistachio Pudding Mixes
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 4 Eggs
  • 3/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 1/2 Cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Powdered Sugar, for Dusting Cake
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease bundt pan.  Mix yellow cake mix and pistachio pudding mixes in mixer until dry ingredients are incorporated.  Add water, eggs and vegetable oil and mix until all ingredients are combined.  Add chocolate chips and fold into batter.  Pour batter into bundt pan and bake for 1 hour.  After baking, let cool for 15 minutes and then flip cake out onto plate.  Dust cake with powdered sugar and ENJOY!
