Since Ke’alohi got her first kiss last week, we thought, “why not let her drive her own car?” Hahaha, just joking. The CFO of my company and his wife were so nice to give some of their daughter’s things and this week they passed down to us a Pack ‘n’ Play and a Barbie WV motorized car. Though she is way too young to really play with this right now, we decided to let her use it to pull herself up on and climb into the driver’s seat. She was a fan of it from the beginning and hung out in it while Lucas and I made breakfast.
After we finished making one of my favorite breakfasts, Grandma Pauline’s pancakes, we all sat down together to eat breakfast. Since Dr. Ouchi said to start introducting Ke’alohi to table food we made a little pancake for her to munch on. Boy, did she love it! The pancake was about the size of her hand and lasted about 2 minutes because she was just gobbling it right up. I even used the rest of the batter to make her little pancake snacks for later. I am so happy we are able to pass down some recipes and memories to her!
