Motherhood is…
noisy
I’m not only talking about her lungs, I’m talking about everything “baby.” Have you noticed that the best toys are either colorful or noisy, and the very best are both. Ke’alohi’s favorite noisy toy is nothing we have bought for her, it’s Duke and Harley’s metal food bowls. She loves grabbing them off the floor and banging them against the wall or the tile. Though it’s great that she can entertain herself with them, my eardrums have taken a significant beating. Hahaha. Ohh, the joys of being a mommy.

Ear plugs are your best friend when you have kids. The ear splitting shrieks are the worst, I reckon.
Hi new follower from a blog hop. I hope that you can follow my new blog. Thanks!!

Your daughter looks so grown up in this picture! My son is just starting to bang toys on things. I’m sure it’s coming soon for us!
Noisy to say the least! I teach middle school, but I would still rather go to school when I’m sick than stay home with loud, crazy kids…it’s not restful at all!
I’m still doing p52, too: http://www.stanwoodtoseoul.blogspot.com.
So true the louder the more they seem to like it. My family and my husband’s family have both gotten our daughter the nosey balls in the push toys. They are so loud even when screaming to each other we can’t seem to hear ourselves. So those toys have weirdly disappeared so I can hear myself think again!

Your picture captures noisy perfectly – metal bowl on tile flooring! Thanks for linking up!
I make do with ear plug myself. I’m your newest follower via GFC. I’d be glad if you follow back. Tnx!

Oh so very true! Actually, hubby and I wound up not replacing many of the batteries in our kid’s toys once they died hehe. We told them it was “broken”, that’s easier said than done sometimes, and a little hard for babies to understand. But when they get a tad older, it can be a blessing!
Luckily I have a high tolerance for those noisy toys, but my husband always secretly shuts them off. Following you from the blog hop. How do I find out more about this project 52?
Little Man’s favorite toys when he was tiny were the pots and pans in the kitchen. I think they like to hear that they can make big noises.
SO cute!
This is great!! The most fun “noisy” toys are almost always not the toys you buy too! The noisy plastic water bottle, spoons, crinkly paper….ahhh.
