Susie and Mike’s Baby Shower

Today we headed out to La Puente for Susie and Mike’s baby shower.  I’ve worked with Susie for almost three years now and was thrilled when I got back from my maternity leave to find out that she was expecting!  They are pregnant with a little boy that is already loved by so many!  The afternoon was filled with love, games, presents, food and sweets! There were a few of us from work that attended and sat together together during all the festivities.

We had a ball eating all tacos and chips and salsa our stomachs could handle.  The tacos there were to die for and some of the best I’ve had in a while.  It reminded me when I was pregnant with Ke’alohi and how I craved tacos all the time.  We would all joke that we thought she would come out wearing a sombero since I had eaten so much Mexican food.  My favorite game of the afternoon had to be where we all put a piece of paper on the top of our heads and then had to draw a baby in 30 seconds.  It was hilarious seeing everyone’s creations. We ended the fun day watching Susie and Mike open presents and admiring all the cute baby boy clothes!  Can’t wait for little Xenophon to get here!
