A Saturday Just “Us Girls”

Today, Ke’alohi and I spent almost the whole day together, just “us girls.”  Lucas is in the thick of busy season and today, instead of working a couple hours, his manager needed him to work pretty much the whole day.  Ke’alohi and I spent the morning hanging out with the dogs downstairs and worked on her throw by tossing cheerios to the pups.  They did not mind one bit “catching” for her and seemed to even enjoy her laughing and screaming.

At noon, Lucas was able to take a break from work and met us at our Saturday Gymboree class.  By this point, I was exhausted and spent most of the class trying to find a place to hide, sleep and escape the chaos.  If Ke’alohi was nice enough to share her crazy amount of energy, I think I would have MAYBE been able to keep up with her.  Hahaha.

After class, Ke’alohi and I headed to LMU to watch the lacrosse game since Olivia’s brother was playing in it.  Unfortunately, there was a lack of communication and the game was actually Sunday.  So instead, we decided to take a stroll around the campus since it was such a beautiful day.  On our walk, we realized that it was Sig Ep’s Sport’s Day and they were about to start the final event, the football game.  Lucas’ fraternity every year puts on this event where alumni come back and challenge the underclassmen at different sports, showing them that they still have it.  It was quite an awesome game and Ke’alohi had a great time watching all her “uncles” run around throwing and catching a football.  Lucas came right as the game ended but was able to hang out with all his brothers at the BBQ after.  Ke’alohi had so much fun in the grass and the excitement from the game completely knocked her out and she was pretty much passed out the entire BBQ.  It was a fun day…
