Buffalo Ranch Chicken Dip

Whenever we watch a game or are in need of a good dip, I always make this one.  One of my mom’s friends, Brenda, gave her this recipe and it has become a quick staple dish in our family.  We even eat it every year at Christmas lunch with our BLT sandwiches.  I’m sure your family will love it too!

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 Pounds Chicken
  • 8 Ounces Cream Cheese, Room Temperature
  • 1 Cup Ranch Dressing
  • 3/4 Cup Favorite Buffalo Sauce
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Directions:
Boil chicken in water for 1 hour.  Cool for 10 minutes then shred or buy pre-cooked chicken and shred.  Spread cream cheese in the bottom of a baking dish.  Combine chicken, ranch dressing and buffalo sauce.  Spread mixture over cream cheese.  Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over top.  Preheat oven to 375 degrees and and bake dish for 20-30 minutes. Serve with tostito chips and/or celery.

I’m not new to motherhood (I do have 8 kids, after all!) but I am new (well, nearly a year now) to cooking, and am always looking for tried-and-proven TASTY looking recipes, and this one sure looks like it fits both those bills! Bookmarking!
