After Lucas and I finished work today, we headed over to the San Gabriel Valley Medical Center to visit Susie and baby Xenophon. I can honestly say that I have never held a baby that small. Ke’alohi was born at 8 pounds, 9 ounces, so holding Xenophon’s 7 pounds was like lifting air. Hahaha. He was such a quiet and sleeply little boy and the only time he woke up was when he had a blowout meconium diaper. That stuff was everywhere and reminded me of when Ke’alohi was born and her first couple days of poops. We also got to see some of Mike and Susie’s family that we had met at their baby shower which was very nice because Ke’alohi got to make faces and stare at more familiar faces.
Susie looked fabulous and not at all like she had just had a baby earlier that day. We can’t wait to see Xenophon again and watch him grow up with Ke’alohi as little partners in crime!
