Cheddar Bacon Ranch Pulls aka “Crack Bread”

God I love Pinterest.  Here is yet another recipe that I would have never known about had I not joined.  This is the perfect recipe to have in a group setting or to pair with pretty much any main dish to make it a real party.  I will totally make this again to liven up a plain steak or chicken dinner.

Ingredients:
  • 1 Unsliced Loaf of Sourdough Bread, Round is Preferable
  • 8 Ounces Cheddar Cheese, Thinly Sliced
  • 3 Ounces Real Bacon Bits
  • 1/2 Cup Butter, Melted
  • 1 Tablespoon Ranch Dressing Mix
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Using a sharp bread knife cut the bread going both directions making sure to not cut through the bottom crust.  Place slices of cheese in between cuts.  Sprinkle bacon bits on bread, making sure to get in between cuts.  Mix together butter and Ranch dressing mix and pour over bread.  Wrap the entire loaf in foil and place on a baking sheet.  Bake for 15 minutes and then unwrap.  Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
