Project 52:16 | Laundry… Tons of Laundry

Motherhood is…

laundry… tons of laundry

Let’s be honest, when you become a mom, you are accepting the fact that your laundry loads will double, maybe even triple.  I swear I have done more laundry in the last 10.5 months with Ke’alohi then I have in the first two years of my marriage with Lucas combined!  I usually do laundry twice a week, two or three loads each time which isn’t horrible but when you forget or let it slide, you’re screwed.  This past weekend I decided that I was too tired to actually fold the laundry so yesterday meant that I needed to fold Sunday’s three loads that were clean and Wednesday’s two loads.  Ugh!!!

HA!! Isn’t this the truth?! I loved it when Evie was a tiny baby.. she never really spit up, so if we were just home all day and didn’t get dirty, I wouldn’t wash her clothes each time she wore something. Fast forward to crawling and walking and she is always dirty!

Oh geez! I can totally relate. I try to do laundry once per week, but I usually do about 7 to 10 loads each time! It takes ALL day. Sheesh!

I’m visiting from the Finding New Friends Hop. Please check out my website if you get the chance. Thx and have a great weekend! :-)

I started trying to do one load a day, I set it up the night before with a timer for it to start about an hour before I wake up, then it is ready for the dryer when I get up, I have all day to fold it. I adapted this from FlyLady. It has been working pretty well for me, as long as I keep up on it. ;)

A psychiatrist is a phyaicisn who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. I have a bachelor’s degree in the social services field. For several years, I have worked with children who have been diagnosed with mental disorders. It is upsetting to see children victimize at an early age and even more disturbing to see them as predators as early as 5 years of age, however knowing that I am doing my part to assist them in becoming functioning youths and adults is rewarding. The empathy, confidentiality and maturity of a medical assistant are definitely needed in this area. I enjoy establishing a rapport with these clients and helping them to find adequate coping skills to deal with their disorders, therefore I would like to work for a psychiatrist.I would not like to work for an emergency phyaicisn for several reasons. I will explain a few. Patients who come to the emergency center typically have serious injuries or trauma. I would not like to have my mind constantly focused on who is coming thru the door and how sever the prognosis is. Knowing myself, I know that would be my focus and I would not be very productive. Also, in the emergency room the staff has to be prepared for anything, I would prefer an area that focuses on a particular specialty. Most importantly, I do not wish to see excessive amounts of blood loss on a regular basis. Actually, not even a minimal amount of blood loss on a regular basis. Giving my opinion and thoughts about this specialty, I would not be an effective employee.
