Throughout my pregnancy and Ke’alohi’s first year of life, I have remained very close to one of my sorority sisters, Hayley. She was due two weeks before me and we texted each other constantly about all of our aches, pains and our highs and lows of pregnancy. She gave birth to Hartlee on May 19, 2011, eight days before Lucas and I had Ke’alohi. Though Hayley and Hartlee were bouncing back and forth between California and South Carolina, she and I were always just a text or call away from each other.
Today is Hartlee’s birthday and was also the day of her party. Hayley did an amazing job on the Minnie Mouse theme party and we had a blast eating great food, seeing Hayley’s family and friends and just celebrating Hartlee. I can’t believe our girls are growing up so fast!
