I was so excited to meet up with Bridget, Ely and Ilikea today because we were going to Cinnamon’s!!! The last time we went there with them we were introduced for the first time to their famous red velvet pancakes, which were nothing short of heaven on a plate. The six of us always have a great time together and we love spending as much time as we can with them. Ironically, we ordered the same thing; the girls got the red velvet pancakes with extra icing (Bridget ended up needing like FOUR icings) and the boys go the Hawaiian omelet, which is a luau with eggs basically. It was all SOOO yummy!
After we stuffed our face with ‘ono (delicious) food, we headed over to the Ho’omaluhia Botanical Gardens to feed the ducks. When we first got there it was raining off and on and we were worried that we wouldn’t be able to walk down to the lake to feed the ducks. Luckily after about 20 minutes the rain stopped and we made the trek down the path to the ducks. The girls LOVED watching the ducks while Ke’alohi tried to chase many of them that were around her. She was so excited to see everyone crowd around her when we threw food to them. We had such a great time feeding the ducks with Bridget, Ely and Ilikea and we hope we can do it next time we are in town with them!
Wow! There were alot of ducks there! Ke`aloha looks like she was having a blast!!
