What a year? Is it possible to say that I feel like I have aged 10 years in the last 12 months but at the same time it feels like it went by in a flash? Hahaha. This has been one of the hardest and most rewarding years for Lucas and I. We are so in love with Ke’alohi and can easily say that she is the best thing that has ever happened to us and that she is the best parts of us both.
People were right when they said that first year of marriage after having a baby is the toughest. It has completely redefined our marriage and our relationship. Before Ke’alohi, we were best friends, a couple, and partners; this year we became a team. Learning each others strengths and weaknesses and being able to balance our relationship and parenthood has been a roller coaster but at the end of the day, there is no one I would rather be doing this with. So hear is to another year and hoping that this next one is better than the last!

Happy Anniversary!! Parenting is tough. It is not for the faint-hearted. This journey with Ke’alohi is just beginning. Hang on for the ride of your life. It’s wonderful to watch you work as a team. We are proud of you both!
