About Me

Aloha, I am Mahina.  Now that we are married and have our daughter Ke’alohi, I have decided to set up a blog to post pictures, updates and more.  We, along with our two dogs, Duke and Harley, enjoy spending time with our close friends and family. We try to take the dogs to Huntington Dog Beach as often as we can so that Duke and Harley can run wild to their hearts content.  Otherwise, you will find all of us at home relaxing while I blog, Lucas fiddles with electronics and Ke’alohi plays with her toys and the dogs.

I am originally from Hawaii and moved to Southern California for college in 2003.  After college, I met my husband, got married and we had our daughter.  I blog about what is most important to me, my family, my ʻohana.  So that is how “What We’re Sayin” was started and I love sharing about our lives.

This blog will focus on our family, life in Southern California, parenting, shopping and our quest to one day move back to Hawaii.  So be sure to check back often and leave us comments because that is what inspires me to write!  We hope you enjoy our blog!

Aloha! You have such a beautiful little family. Thank you for following my blog from the Linky Party, following you back via email and Pinterest. We live in Florida but my husband was born in the Philippines. Looking forward to following your posts.

P.S. Tell me about this ‘Project 52′? I LOVE taking pictures of my family, cooking, crafts and our adventures but always looking for new ways to get creative with it.

men aren’t the only people who notice attractive women, and vice versa. Though all sex studies are controversial, this one did its homework in its attempt to avoid research flaws and to get as true a representation of America as possible.
