Eight-Month Doctor’s Appointment

IMG_0202

At this appointment with Dr. Ouchi, Ke'alohi weighed in at 22 pounds, measured 28 inches and her head circumference was 18.25 inches.  I was happy to see that her weight and height were starting to even out now that she is crawling.  Ke'alohi is now in the 97th percentile for weight and in the 80th percentile for height. Like the last appointment, there were many things to that we talked about starting to introduce to Ke'alohi, like yogurt, … [Read more...]

Sometimes I’m Speechless…

dog bowl

There aren't many times where I have nothing to say, but tonight is one of them.  As I was getting dinner out of the fridge to prep, I let Ke'alohi play with some of her toys in the living room.  Needless to say, she is over them and now has moved on to "greener pastures" and now is obsessed with Duke and Harley's water bowl.  This is how I found her, completely drenched, water everywhere, but loving every moment of it. Gotta love her... … [Read more...]

We Moved!

moved

It's official! We have officially moved our blog from Blogger to WordPress. I had been thinking about doing this for some time but never really felt the motivation to commit to making the move until last week when I saw that one of my favorite blogs had just made the move. Jeannette at The Adventures of J-Man and MillerBug, made the switch and wrote a post about it, sparking me to e-mail her for her thoughts, tips and any help she could give me. … [Read more...]

First Time Pulling to a Stand!

I'm not sure, but she spent a whole hour today just hanging out under the exersaucer entertaining herself. And as any parent knows, if … [Read more...]

Project 52:4 | Remembering Our Angels

DSCF2499

Motherhood is... remembering our angels Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of my grandpa's motorcycle accident.  I still can't get over how on earth it has been that long; I feel like it just happened yesterday.  There is not a day that goes by that I don't wish to God that Ke'alohi got to meet my grandparents.  They taught me the most important things you need in life: how to love your family, how to love your … [Read more...]
