Ke'alohi and I survived Lucas' first business trip!!! Because of Lucas' promotion earlier this month, his company sent all the new "promotees" to Atlanta for training. Lucas left Monday afternoon and got back late tonight and Ke'alohi and I couldn't be happier that Daddy is home safe. Storing clean or dirty cloth diapers has never been easier. For the clean diapers, we use Ke'alohi's top drawer to hold all the diapers. We pre-stuff them with the inserts and also have the Bummis Bio-Soft liner already in them so that when we need to change Ke'alohi, it's as fast and as simple as if we were using disposable diapers. Today we headed up to Northridge to celebrate Madison's first birthday! Tracy, one of my hula sister's, has the sweetest little granddaughter and we were so excited to be invited to her birthday party. In Hawaii, it is the "norm" to have luau food and it's looking like when you are in Los Angeles, the cool thing to do is get a taco man! Our precious goddaughter is officially one! I seriously can't believe that both Ilikea and Ke'alohi are toddlers. I remember when Bridget and I were texting each other back and forth when they were just weeks old and now they are walking and talking up a storm. We have little human beings now! Today the unthinkable happened; I had the best nap I've ever had in my life. I haven't been feeling to well recently to today when Lucas was putting Ke'alohi down for her nap, I decided that I would take a "little" one also while she was sleeping. Motherhood is... adapting I don't know if you have noticed but the last two weeks the quality of my photos haven't been the greatest. That is because we haven't had a camera and have been adapting and taking all our pictures on our phones. The shutter on my canon has been acting up and we finally sent it in to get repaired and now we have it back. I couldn't be happier to have my "real" camera back in action!
