Motherhood is... quick If I've learned anything from being a mom, it's that you have to be quick. If she is hungry and wants a bottle, she wanted it 10 minutes ago, so you better move fast. Motherhood is... fascinating Watching babies grow up and seeing how their mind processing things is absolutely fascinating. The whole process of her growing up amazes me everyday. Ke'alohi's newest obsession is watching the washing machine. We have a front-loading washer and whenever I try to load or unload clothes, she is right there watching me, practically trying to climb in. Motherhood is... silly Ke'alohi has a new trick; she is obsessed with sticking out her tongue. Her favorite time to stick out her tongue is when she sees a flash on the camera or iPhone, hence this picture. Motherhood is... peaceful I bet you didn't see that one coming! Hahaha. We have had our ups and downs these past few weeks with sleeping but then a miracle happened Wednesday night. Ke'alohi went to sleep without any fuss around 8 pm with Lucas and then slept until 7:20 am when we had to wake her up to get ready for daycare! Motherhood is... exhausting With Ke'alohi having an ear infection and perforated eardrum, sleeping has been rough for me due to my "mommy guilt." Motherhood is... sweet Time is going by so fast! We are already in the thick of planning Ke'alohi's baby luau or 1st birthday. I am really trying to savor all the times we have with Ke'alohi while she is this small. Last night, Ke'alohi was in such a great mood during bath time and was loving on Daddy.
