Today is the first day of Lent so our little family headed to St. Monica's Catholic Church to go to Ash Wednesday mass. St. Monica's is one of my favorite churches for many reasons. This past Thursday was my grandma's birthday. I had originally wanted to celebrate her birthday by making one of her recipes but then realized that I didn't have all the ingredients. Motherhood is... noisy I'm not only talking about her lungs, I'm talking about everything "baby." Have you noticed that the best toys are either colorful or noisy, and the very best are both.
