When we were looking into convertible car seats, I knew that I wanted a Britax, no questions asked. They are always on the top of safety reviews, customer reviews and on the consumer report ratings. Poor Duke, wait no, Poor Wallet! Last September, we found out that the reason for Duke's limping and pain had to do with his knees. At the time, his left knee's CCL (a dog's version of the human ACL) was completely torn and his doctor thought that the right one was also strained but not torn. At this appointment with Dr. Ouchi, Ke’alohi weighed in at 23 pounds and 15 ounces, measured 30.5 inches long and her head circumference was 18.5 inches. Ke’alohi is now in the 90th percentile for weight and in the 90th percentile for height. I am so glad that she is starting to even out in her weight and height percentiles! We spent the morning doing what we needed most, relaxing from the crazy 1st birthday picnic we had yesterday. After a couple hours of lounging in bed and hanging out in the living room we headed down to Manhattan Beach to meet up with Jenn, Jon, Jacob, Jenna and Aaron.
