Visiting Auntie Nalani and Uncle Jason’s House

jason and nalani house

Let's just say that I really should use the term "house" loosely when I talk about their place because it really is a mansion and future sanctuary for us.  They have made so much progress in the last six months and the place really does look beautiful.  I really can't wait for them to finish (so I can move in) and see the finished product!  Their place is looking fabulous and it is so cool to see all the plumbing lines and the wood framework … [Read more...]

Hanging Out with Ilikea

Park

We were so excited to see Ilikea on this trip and see how her and Ke'alohi got along and played with each other.  We were bummed that this trip Bridget was working so she couldn't play with us at their house or the park.  We were able to get the girls to share some toys and even sit next to each other for a little bit. After Ke'alohi and Ilikea played at their house, Ely took us over to this awesome park in Kailua.  The girls had a blast … [Read more...]

Project 52:25 | A Balancing Act

IMG_3771

Motherhood is... a balancing act A synonym for "mother" has to be "juggler" because that is what we do; we balance and juggle anything and everything that goes on in our family's life.  Ke'alohi has been loving her stacking cups and especially likes it when I try to balance them on her head like this.  Isn't she so cute trying to stay as still as possible? If you want to see more blogs also participating in Project 52 check out Aubrey My … [Read more...]

The Flight from Hell…

plane to

I think the title of my post pretty much sums it up perfectly because the trip back home, even in first class, went terrible.  Do not let this cute picture of Lucas and Ke'alohi fool you; Lucas, myself and some of the passengers beside us had a LONG five and a half hours.  Out of whole flight, Ke'alohi cried around two hours of it off and on.  On top of that, Ke'alohi threw up on me and kicked my glass of coke all over Lucas, making his shirt … [Read more...]

And We’re Off!!!

drinks

When most people think of Hawaii, they think about this picture; relaxing on a beach, sipping on some expensive but delicious drinks out of a coconut or pineapple.  Doesn't everything taste exponentially better when you are at the beach with sand between your toes?  In just five short hours we will be home with my parents, finishing up the last details for Ke'alohi's baby luau. Bon Voyage!!! … [Read more...]

Tomorrow I’ll Be Here…

hanauma bay

This is where we are going tomorrow!  Okay, fine, we won't actually be going to Hanauma Bay tomorrow, but we sure will be close to it.  This beach is about five minutes from my parent's house on Oahu and hopefully this trip we will be able to go there. I am beyond excited to be with "my people" and to be able to breath in the fresh, salty air and look at this picturesque place I will always call home. … [Read more...]

Happy Father’s Day

photo

Even though this is not Lucas' first Father's Day, it is the first for us as a family.  Last year on Father's Day I was in the hospital so it definitely wasn't what we had expected or wanted for his first holiday.  We all woke up early and headed to Toast, a restaurant in Beverly Hills that is very posh and is constantly visited by celebrities, but more importantly has an awesome breakfast menu.  You could tell when we got there just before 8 … [Read more...]
